I like to think of myself as a natural problem solver. I’ve always enjoyed helping people with complex problems, especially those problems that also require emotional intelligence. My work as a financial planner allows me to do that on a daily basis. I primarily provide support to my clients in the areas of financial planning, wealth management, employee benefits, and retirement planning.
I received my undergraduate degree in History and Political Science from Christopher Newport University, and have now been in the financial industry for ten years. I also became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® so that I could better serve the needs of my clients. I love developing long-lasting relationships with my clients and seeing them reap the rewards of their financial planning efforts. I often think about and am grateful for the opportunity I have to make a positive impact on people’s lives through the work that I do.
I’m from Loudoun County, Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC. I now live in Richmond, Virginia, with my wife, Allison; our daughter, Josie; and our dog, Stella. I’m a very active person and enjoy golfing, exercising, and cycling—but I also appreciate those quiet moments to enjoy a good book and time with friends and family.
