I’m the Director of Client Relationships at Community Financial Group’s Fredericksburg office, where I lead our Client Care Team and work closely with our advisors to ensure a smooth and supportive experience for our clients. My role includes helping clients implement financial strategies, mentoring staff, and overseeing hiring, onboarding, and ongoing professional development. What I love most about my work is being there for clients during life’s more challenging moments and seeing them enjoy the results of their planning and hard work.
I’ve been part of the financial services industry since 2004, beginning my career at Sgarlato Financial Services, a family‑owned firm where I gained hands‑on experience managing the business and supporting clients behind the scenes. That foundation shaped the way I approach my work today: with care, accountability, and a strong focus on relationships.
Before entering financial services, I spent several years in the staffing industry, including serving as a Branch Manager for an international firm. In that role, I led a team of HR professionals and worked closely with organizations to understand their needs and connect them with the right talent. That experience sharpened my ability to listen, problem‑solve, and guide people through important decisions.
I hold a Series 7 designation, a Virginia Insurance License, and I am a Chartered Leadership Fellow® through The American College of Financial Services. I joined Community Financial Group in 2017, where I continue to support clients with thoughtful leadership and a people‑first approach.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where I met my husband, Paul. We have an adult son, Vincent, and live in downtown Fredericksburg, which often feels like a real-life Hallmark movie, with our aging husky mix. On weekends, you’ll often find me doing yoga, cooking, or enjoying coffee and travel shows with Paul.
