As the Client Relationship Manager at Community Financial Group, my job is to help develop and maintain excellent relationships with our clients. I received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance from George Mason University, and worked at both Edward Jones and Capital One Bank before coming to CFG.
My interest in finance wasn’t sparked by a class or a book; unfortunately, it started by watching someone I love struggle with their finances during a major life transition. I so wished my loved one had had someone to advocate for and advise them in this situation, and over time, that grew into a desire to become that person. While working as a Teller and Relationship Banker at the bank, I was able to work alongside the advisors and soon realized the field of wealth management was what I was looking for. I learned so much that helped me and my family, and I wanted to be able to bring the knowledge to others.
I was born in Pakistan and came to the United States when I was ten years old. I now live in downtown Fredericksburg and love staying as active as I can with weight training, Pilates, and yoga, as well as hiking and running outdoors.
