As the executive assistant at Community Financial Group, I'm the detail-oriented person behind the scenes making sure everything runs smoothly for our clients and our team. I guide clients through their requests, track every detail in our system, and some of my most rewarding moments happen when I discover common ground with a client and they open up and tell their story.
I've spent 25 years in client-facing roles, and I've always been drawn to the financial industry because it combines my love of helping people with my passion for learning new systems. I earned my Associate's degree and also a Notary Public. I grew up in Roanoke with parents who encouraged me to dream big and try new experiences—I've carried that "can do anything I put my mind to" attitude throughout my career.
My greatest achievements are my two children and six grandchildren. When I'm not at work, I stay creative through painting, sketching, and illustrating children's books. I also love spending time with my two Arabian horses, Jalee and Adjo, and hiking with my Weimaraner pup, Zoee. I give back to my community as a child advocate with CASA and by contributing to older veterans at the VA in Salem.
