I have worked in the financial industry since 1998. Initially, I worked in banking, spending time at both Chase Bank in Kentucky and First Union/Wachovia in Virginia. Working in the bank with a limited license, I often had to refer clients to a Series 7 Advisor with their bigger financial questions. I loved to sit in on his meetings and learn about all of the investment options available—and pretty soon, I wanted to be able to do that part of the job myself. I now have my own Series 7 license, as well as my Series 66 and Life and Health Insurance licenses.
On a day-to-day basis, I get to work directly with our clients, offering personalized advice and guidance, developing successful strategies, and finding resolutions for their financial concerns. I love the opportunity I get to build long-term relationships with my clients, and an understanding of what they need and what they hope to achieve. I strive to not only be a teacher and partner for my clients, but also a counselor and a friend that they can trust.
I was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and moved to Virginia when I was six years old. Roanoke is what I have always called home. I am a single mother to my biological daughter, Hailey, and my two foster daughters, Ally and Lena. I enjoy spending time with my three girls, swimming, and boating on Smith Mountain Lake.
