Carrie S. Kerns

I am a Financial Professional with the Community Financial Group office in Roanoke. I joined the CFG Team in 2017, bringing with me 10 plus years of managerial and commercial insurance experience. My main areas of concentration are life insurance, annuities, and investments.

My background in Property and Casualty Insurance gives me additional insight into a client’s Risk Management needs. I have extensive experience with life insurance products as well as investment strategies like Mutual Funds, Stocks, Bonds, and Annuities. I currently hold the FINRA Series 6, Series 7, Series 63 registrations, as well as Life and Health licenses. I have been recognized by Equitable Advisors as the leading Female DSF agent in the country in 2018, 2019 and 2020.

After working in the insurance industry, my role as a Financial Professional is more rewarding to me because I can do even more for my clients. I can better help them achieve their financial goals through a much broader, holistic range of investment products.

I enjoy working closely with my clients, getting to know their stories, and educating them on their options to best meet their goals. I equally enjoy working with our amazing team and feeling that sense of comradery that comes from our shared vision and culture.

My colleagues describe me as passionate, driven, and detail-oriented with a strong desire to help others succeed. When not at the office, I am often engaging in activities at my church, spending time with my loving family or kayaking. I also love to travel, but who doesn’t?
